The short version

• We only receive what you type into our two forms. Nothing is collected in the background.
• No analytics, no advertising, no tracking cookies.
• We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s purposes.
• One email to info@wikiflow.com removes anything you have sent.

Our commitment

At wikiflow we are committed to protecting your privacy and personal data. We collect and process your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation and other applicable laws. This statement explains what we collect, why, how we use it, and what rights you have.

What we collect

The briefing form, your name, work email address, company, role and message.

The newsletter form, your email address.

Server logs, kept by our host as any host does, including IP addresses, for security and operations.

Both forms are optional. The rest of the site works without giving us anything.

Why we use it

We use your data to communicate with you, to provide and improve our services, for internal market research, to protect our rights and property, and to comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for their own purposes, unless you give us your consent or we are required to by law.

Where it goes

The site is hosted by Netlify, which also processes the form submissions. Submissions are delivered to the wikiflow international team and nowhere else.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. None of its own, none for analytics, and none for advertising. Nothing you do here is tracked across other websites, and there is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

If that changes we will say so here first, and ask you before anything is set.

What stays on your device

One thing, and it is never sent to us: for the current visit only, whether you dismissed the results card on the homepage. It is forgotten when you close the tab.

How long we keep it

We keep your data only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for. In practice: enquiries are kept while we are in contact and for up to two years afterwards; newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to our processing of it, and to receive a copy of it in a portable form. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

Write to info@wikiflow.com and we will act on it. There is no charge, and we will come back to you within one month.

Complaints

If you believe we have handled your data badly, please tell us first: we would rather put it right. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner’s Office; in the EU and EEA it is the authority in the country where you live or work.

Security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, use, disclosure, alteration or destruction. But no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes

We may update this statement to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The most recent version is always the one on this page.
