Privacy

This site is deliberately quiet about data. Here is everything it collects, where that goes, and the choices you have, in plain language.

The short version

  • We only receive what you type into our two forms, nothing is collected in the background.
  • No analytics, no advertising, no tracking cookies.
  • Your light/dark choice stays on your own device.
  • One email to us removes anything you have sent.

What we collect, and why

Request a briefing form, your name, email address and message. We use them for one thing: replying to you about the briefing.

Newsletter form, your email address, used to send the newsletter you asked for.

Both forms are optional. The rest of the site works without giving us anything.

Where it goes

The site is hosted by Netlify, which also processes the form submissions and, like any host, keeps standard server logs (including IP addresses) for security and operations. Submissions are delivered to the wikiflow international team, and nowhere else. We do not sell or share your details.

What stays on your device

Two small preferences are stored in your browser and never sent to us: your light/dark theme choice, and, for the current visit only, whether you dismissed the results card on the homepage.

Fonts

Pages load their typefaces (Hanken Grotesk and IBM Plex Mono) from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google’s servers when a page opens; Google sees that request as it would for any font host.

Your choices

Email lorraine@wikiflow.com to ask what we hold about you, to have it deleted, or to stop the newsletter. We act on every request.
